This is a very nice GT550 L that has just had the engine rebuilt by a Suzuki specialist,along with carb overhaul,electronic ignition etc. It's had a crankshaft rebuild,rebore to 0.5 oversize,new pistons/rings,starter clutch,brake caliper rebuild plus much more.It hadn't done any miles since the rebuild when I acquired it,but I've been out on it a few times and it's run very nicely and pulled well too,although there are a couple more things to attend to,and it's bound to need some adjustments during the running in period. Cosmetically it's generally excellent,although the side panels are a slightly different shade to the tank,which has been repainted to a high standard. Wheels,mudguards,grab rail are all good,as is the seat. It's a genuine UK bike,registered as Historic,and has been in the same ownership for the last 32 years.
